The Arc of Central Alabama seeks a Wellness Office Nurse to provide skilled nursing support from a central office location for individuals with IDD served across our programs. You will manage medication oversight, health documentation, and coordination tasks that backstop field-based nursing and direct-support staff, ensuring timely, compliant care.

Competenze

• Current, unrestricted RN or LPN license in Alabama.
• MAS Nurse certification per ADMH Community Programs.
• CPR certification required or ability to obtain.

Mansioni

• Administer medications per orders and verifications.
• Maintain MARs and reconcile medications.
• Coordinate with pharmacies and prescribers for continuity of care.
• Complete nursing assessments and care plans.
• Perform home visits and ensure safety and compliance.
• Oversee MAC staff training and competency validation.
• Document incidents and regulatory compliance.
• Respond to urgent health inquiries and on-call needs.
