The Arc of Central Alabama seeks a Clinical Aide to provide direct health-related support for individuals with IDD across residential and day programs. You will work under supervision of licensed nursing staff, performing delegated tasks, monitoring health, and documenting observations to ensure safe, person-centered supports.

Responsibilities include vitals, basic health checks, medication support, and collaboration with RN/LPN staff.

Competenze

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• CNA certification preferred.
• Background check clearance required.
• Pre-employment drug screen and TB testing as required.
• First Aid and CPR certification required or obtainable.
• Ability to follow delegated nursing instructions.

Mansioni

• Perform delegated health-related tasks (vitals, weights, basic health checks) as directed by RN/LPN staff.
• Observe and promptly report health/status changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with medication administration support as allowed.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of health observations and tasks.
• Support activities of daily living in coordination with nursing staff.
