Job summary

The Arc of LaGrange County is hiring a full-time Nurse RN to support residents with disabilities. You will educate and mentor frontline staff, develop and implement routine and emergency medical procedures, and serve as a medical consultant for health-related needs.

Responsibilities include medication administration, MAR management, and coordinating individual health care plans while ensuring Medicaid funding and accreditation standards are met.

Qualifications

• Development and implementation of routine and emergency health procedures for residents.
• Serve as a consultant to staff on health-related needs.
• Onsite medical training including CPR, First Aid and AED for staff.
• Coordinate individual health care plans and wellness coordination.
• Pass medications, manage MARs, and assist with risk planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement health procedures for residents and ensure Medicaid funding compliance.
• Provide medical training to staff on safety, CPR/First Aid/AED, and medication administration.
• Order supplies and medications, monitor medications, and perform wellness checks.
• Complete daily paperwork and upload monthly reports.
• Coordinate individual health care plans and monitor risk factors.
