Job summary

Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is actively seeking a caring and energetic Supported Employment Direct Support Professional to assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Ellisville, MS. The job coach/DSP provides individualized training and follow-up support services, enhancing stability and job retention.

Some weekend shifts may be required. This is a part-time position with potential weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Mississippi Driver's License with clean driving record.
• Must obtain Class D license within 30 days of hire.
• CPR and MANDT training required.
• IDD population experience and ADLs experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Model appropriate behavior for participants.
• Provide training and support with daily activities.
• Transport participants to facilities and community activities.
• Document training and progress for IDD day programs.
• Assist participants with daily living skills and community involvement.
