Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is seeking a caring and energetic Supported Employment Direct Support Professional in Prentiss, MS. You will assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, provide individualized training, and support treatment plans with clinical staff to improve quality of life.

The role involves daily activities coaching, community outings, and adherence to care plans.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required
• MANDT training or equivalent
• Experience with the IDD population preferred
• Valid Mississippi Driver's License required
• Will obtain Class D license within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with daily living activities
• Model appropriate behavior for participants
• Provide transportation to facilities and community activities
• Train participants in skills and document progress for IDD day programs
• Help participants learn daily living skills using pragmatic training
• Encourage community involvement and maintain relationships
