Job summary

VistaCare is seeking a Shared Living Area Director to oversee operations, quality care, and financial performance across our South Dakota Shared Living, residential, and day service programs.

You will empower individuals with IDD to live dignified lives while leading a team of supervisors and coordinators. Travel across assigned South Dakota regions is required, with on-call availability for evenings and weekends, and a strong focus on safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in human services; 2+ years in IDD Shared Living/Host Home programs; proven management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ISP development, intake assessments, and regulatory compliance; conduct site evaluations and resolve audit citations.
