Job summary

Sevita is seeking a Program Director for IDD Services. The role oversees one to four programs within a community, directing direct supports, planning, health care, advocacy, regulatory compliance, recruiting, staffing, and safety.

The director ensures high-quality, person-centered services and operational efficiency. The position requires a bachelor’s degree with 2–3 years in Human Services (or equivalent) and a strong, compassionate leader who can manage teams and regulatory requirements while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2–3 years of related experience in the Human Services Industry preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• State requirements or regulations may apply.
• Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of one to four programs, including direct supports, planning, health care, advocacy, regulatory compliance, staffing, and maintenance.
• Manage program staff, including performance evaluations, scheduling, and orientation.
• Make recommendations on hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, corrective action, and terminations.
• Manage program planning, monitor service delivery, and ensure services are engaging and relevant.
• Be available on-call to support staff, cover shifts as needed.
