Job summary

REM Community Services, part of Sevita, seeks a Program Director for IDD Services in Portage, Wisconsin. This on-site leadership role manages 1–4 programs, directs direct supports, and ensures compliance, quality planning, and advocacy for individuals served.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree with 2–3 years in Human Services, strong organizational and communication skills, and willingness to be on-call for staff coverage. We offer a full benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of related Human Services experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• State requirements or regulations may require additional licensure or certification.
• Valid driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Effective communication to manage relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of 1-4 programs, including service delivery and regulatory compliance.
• Supervise program staff, evaluate performance, schedule, and orient new hires.
• Make recommendations on hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, and terminations.
• Ensure planning implementation and monitor services to be engaging and relevant.
• Be on-call to support staff and cover shifts as needed.
