Job summary

D&S Community Services, part of the Sevita family, seeks a Program Director for IDD Services in Nashville. You will oversee the daily operations of multiple programs, lead staff, coordinate direct supports and regulatory compliance, and ensure high-quality, person-centered services.

This is a full-time, on-call role with mission-driven impact. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree with 2–3 years in human services, strong organizational and communication skills, and a compassionate,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field with 2–3 years of related experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.
• State regulations or required licensure/certification as applicable.
• Valid driver's license, car registration and auto insurance.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and multi-tasking ability.
• Effective communication skills to manage relationships; compassionate approach.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of 1–4 programs within a community.
• Supervise program staff including evaluations, scheduling and orientation.
• Make hiring, promotion, salary, transfer and discipline decisions as needed.
• Lead program planning, service delivery monitoring, and ensure quality supports.
• Be on-call to support staff and cover shifts as needed.
