Job summary

Mentor Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, seeks a Program Director, IDD Services in the Northeast Philadelphia area to oversee day‑to‑day operations of 1–4 community programs, including direct support, person‑centered planning, health care, advocacy, regulatory compliance, recruitment, staffing, training, safety, and facility maintenance.

You will manage program staff, make hiring and promotion decisions, implement program planning, monitor service delivery, and provide on‑call

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2‑3 years of related experience in Human Services (preferred) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• State‑required education, training, licensure, or certification as needed.
• Current driver’s license, vehicle registration, and auto insurance.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills and strong relationship‑building ability.
• Reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage program staff members: performance evaluations, scheduling, and orientation.
• Make decisions on hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, corrective actions, and terminations.
• Implement program planning, monitor service delivery, and ensure services remain engaging and relevant.
• Provide on‑call support to staff, find coverage or cover shifts as needed.
