Job summary

Mentor Community Services, a part of Sevita, invites you to apply for the Program Specialist/Program Director, IDD Services role in Washington County, PA. The position offers $55,000 annually with on-call requirements and a 40-hour work week, and entails overseeing 1–4 programs, staff supervision, and regulatory compliance.

You will drive person-centered planning, service delivery, and health care coordination while ensuring safety, consistency, and quality in supports for individuals served.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 2–3 years of related IDD/Human Services experience and 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Direct IDD/Autism/Human Services experience with face-to-face support.
• Current driver’s license, car registration, and auto insurance.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of 1–4 programs including organization and implementation of direct supports, person-centered planning, health care, advocacy, regulatory compliance, recruiting, retention, staffing, training, safety, financial management, and maintenance of the physical environment.
• Manage program staff members including performance evaluations, scheduling, and orientation.
• Make recommendations and/or decisions on employee hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, corrective action, and terminations.
• Manage the implementation of program planning; monitor delivery of services and supports; ensure services are consistent, engaging, and relevant to the individuals served.
• Must be available on-call to support staff, find coverage or cover shifts as needed.
