Job summary
Northeast Kingdom Human Services in Lyndonville, VT is seeking a Residential Manager to lead daily operations of a licensed residential care home serving individuals with IDD. The role blends budgeting, staffing, and regulatory compliance with hands-on client care and supervision of staff.
The successful candidate will oversee licensing requirements, coordinate service delivery, manage on-call rotations, and ensure safety and compassionate support for residents.
Qualifications
- Certification or associate degree in human services with administrative experience in adult residential care
- Nursing license or nursing home administrator license in Vermont is acceptable
- Experience managing budgets and regulatory compliance in a licensed residential setting
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of a licensed residential home serving individuals with IDD
- Provide direct supervision to the Assistant Manager and ensure adequate staffing
- Ensure compliance with NKHS policies and state regulations (DLP, DDSD)
- Coordinate service delivery and care plans in collaboration with staff and service coordinators
- Provide after-hours on-call managerial support as scheduled and support safety and well-being of residents
- Manage household budget and resources and ensure safe, home-like facilities
