Job summary

Northeast Kingdom Human Services in Newport, VT seeks a DS Team Leader to provide leadership to support staff and individuals with IDD. The role encompasses supervising service coordinators, guiding daily operations, and ensuring adherence to ISA goals and program policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field.
• Qualified Developmental Disabilities Professional (QDDP) certification.
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities/or autism.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise DS Service Coordinators, DSPs, or residential staff.
• Oversee scheduling and daily workflow for direct reports.
• Provide performance evaluations to direct reports.
• Hire, discipline, and terminate staff per policy.
• Provide, coordinate, mentor and document trainings.
• Manage on-going crisis and budgets within responsibility areas.
