Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) Medicaid CHIP Services (MCS) seeks a highly qualified Program Specialist IV to provide complex consultative and technical assistance for IDD PES. This role supports HCS, TxHmL, CLASS, ICF/ID and CFC NW programs, overseeing enrollments, IPCs, LOC/LON determinations and related data analysis.

The position emphasizes teamwork, high professional standards, accountability, and integrity.

Qualifications

Knowledge of HCS, TxHmL, ICF/ID program rules and billing guidelines.
Ability to train staff and supervise deliverables.
Ability to analyze program data and prepare reports.
Experience coordinating unit and cross-agency workgroups.
Experience with LTC programs preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide highly complex consultative and technical assistance to management and HHSC staff.
Analyze data and reports; organize and prepare materials for program information requests.
Coordinate unit and cross-agency activities to develop program initiatives.
Develop and revise review tools and evaluation forms.
Train staff and guide implementation of new operational procedures.
