Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, is hiring a Program Director for IDD Services. This role leads multiple community programs, oversees staff, ensures compliant, person-centered services, and may require on-call coverage.

A bachelor’s degree in Human Services and 2–3 years of related experience are preferred. We offer full-time opportunities with a comprehensive benefits package; drivers license and auto insurance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
• Current driver's license with automobile insurance required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; detail-oriented and able to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 1–4 community programs; ensure services are person-centered and compliant.
• Lead program staff through evaluations, scheduling, and orientation.
• Make recommendations on hires, transfers, salary actions, and terminations.
• Ensure program planning and delivery are engaging and appropriate for individuals served.
• Be on-call to support staff and cover shifts as needed.
