Job summary

Life Help in Indianola, MS seeks a dedicated supervisor to oversee Direct Care Staff and coordinate plans of service for clients. You will supervise staff, ensure person-centered plans are carried out, and collaborate with support coordinators to meet service outcomes.

The role involves managing EMR records within DMH timelines, Medicaid billing, and facilitating transportation for clients to the Day Program and community outings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Mental Health Field.
• Valid Mississippi Class D driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Attend Plan of Service and Support meetings and implement activities from PSS outcomes.
• Assist individualized activities to reach outcomes on the Plan of Service and Support.
• Provide program and facility management and supervision of Direct Care Staff.
• Conduct Person-Centered Plans and develop activity plans.
• Supervise, train and evaluate Direct Care Staff.
• Communicate with the Support Coordinator to manage the person’s needs and PSS.
• Promote community awareness and education.
• Manage Electronic Medical Records within DMH timelines; submit monthly paperwork by the 10th.
• Coordinate services with other service providers regularly.
• Submit weekly Medicaid billing to Greenwood office every Monday and review billing for corrections.
• Provide safe daily transportation to Day Program and on community outings.
