Job summary

Communicare in Mississippi seeks a PSR Program Supervisor to plan and organize the Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program in line with DMH, Medicaid, and Communicare standards. You will work under the Office Supervisor and Clinical Director of Adult Services to implement evidence-based curricula and coordinate client services.

Qualifications

• Background check and drug screen required.
• CPR certification required.
• CPI training within 30 days of employment.
• Experience in the mental health field preferred.
• Valid Mississippi driver’s license and insurable driving record required.
• Ability to relate positively to clients and staff and to accept supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize the PSR Program as mandated by DMH, Medicaid, and Communicare standards.
• Implement evidence-based curricula for the PSR Program as directed.
• Recruit, screen, and orient new clients for the PSR program.
• Complete documentation and billing, including progress notes and attendance rosters.
• Coordinate transportation for clients and drive the van as needed.
• Maintain program materials and supplies for functioning of the program.
• Provide crisis intervention and other clinical services as needed.
• Coordinate services with the treatment team per treatment plans.
• Supervise PSR staff, van driver, volunteers, and students as assigned.
• Work under supervision of the County Office Supervisor and the Clinical Director of Adult Services.
