Job summary

Life Help is a regional community mental health center seeking a supervisor to oversee Day Program activities and coordinate with Plan of Service outcomes. You will supervise Direct Care Staff, implement individualized activity plans, and ensure timely EMR handling.

You will coordinate with Support Coordinators and other providers, promote community education, and manage billing while ensuring safe transportation for program participants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Mental Health Field is required.
• Valid Mississippi Class D driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Attend the Plan of Service and Support meetings and implement activities from the PSS.
• Coordinate activities to reach outcomes stated on the Plan of Service and Support.
• Provide program/facility management and supervision of Direct Care Staff.
• Conduct Person-Centered Plans and develop individualized activity plans.
• Supervise, train and evaluate Direct Care Staff.
• Communicate with the Support Coordinator to manage needs and PSS.
• Promote Community awareness and education.
• Manage Electronic Medical Records and submit monthly paperwork by the 10th of the following month.
• Coordinate services with other providers (e.g., Support Coordinators, Case Managers).
• Submit weekly Medicaid billing and check weekly essential billing for corrections.
• Provide safe transportation for persons to daily programs and community outings.
