Job summary

Open Arms Care in Tennessee is seeking a Program Manager to direct assigned client programs and implement programmatic and administrative policies to achieve goals for the clients we serve. You will develop and ensure ISP, BSP and Medical Support Plans, and protocols.

Train, supervise, and evaluate staff for accurate documentation of supports and ensure compliance with Open Arms Care policies and regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Human Services or related field required.
1 year of experience working with individuals diagnosed with IDD required.
Valid driver’s license required.
CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
PCM certification required within 60 days of hire.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet.

Responsibilities

Facilitate care for a maximum caseload of 16 individuals with IDD.
Prepare, complete, and train on ISP, BSP, and related documents.
Assess skill level, interests, and independence needs for caseload.
Participate in Administrator on Duty procedures and ensure 24/7 availability.
Train and supervise employees; ensure accurate documentation of supports.
Observe client training goals and oversee progress of skills.
Complete active treatment and mealtime observations.
Communicate professionally with management, health professionals, families and conservators.
Ensure timely documentation and data collection.
Attend meetings and committees; provide programming leadership feedback.
Provide oversight on incidents, behaviors, and seizures; follow CMS guidance.
