Zusammenfassung

RHA Health Services, LLC seeks an IDD Nurse (LPN) to provide holistic nursing care in residential homes and vocational centers in Georgia. The role requires graduation from an accredited licensed nurse program and an active LPN license without restrictions, plus CPR certification or eligibility.

The nurse will work under clinical supervision from a registered nurse and coordinate with the Interdisciplinary Team.

Qualifikationen

• Graduation from an accredited licensed nurse program.
• Current LPN license with no restrictions to practice nursing.
• Current CPR Certification or eligibility to certify for CPR.
• Possess credentials required by Federal or State law.
• Effective communication with Interdisciplinary Team Members and families.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and prioritize tasks.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Aufgaben

• Provide holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Observe, assist with gathering health data, and report health needs to the RN.
• Coordinate preventative and routine medical care for people supported.
• Document nursing care provided.
• Assist physicians with on-site medical clinics where applicable.
• Provide health-related trainings to unlicensed staff per state regulations.
• Conduct medication pass observations for staff competency per state regulations.
• Conduct medication closest assessments.
• Perform quality assurance checks to ensure tasks are performed by unlicensed personnel as assigned.
• Observe and report abnormal health findings to the physician.
• Communicate with physicians, pharmacies, medical suppliers, and the Interdisciplinary Team.
• Advocate for people supported and develop community supports for optimal health.
