The University of Alabama seeks a Resident Aide for Capstone Village Assisted Living. The role provides direct care to residents, supporting daily living activities and participation in therapeutic and restorative programs.

Documentation of care and resident well-being is required. Responsibilities include assisting with dressing, grooming, bathing, transfers, meals, and mobility, as well as escorting residents, documenting intake, and supporting nutrition services.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED and one year of healthcare work experience.
• Must complete dementia training within five days of employment.
• Final candidates must submit to and successfully pass a post-offer drug screen.
• A background check will be conducted prior to hiring; individualized review for any prior convictions or red flags.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct care to residents for activities of daily living.
• Assist with therapeutic and restorative activities and programs.
• Complete required documentation for residents.
