Job summary

River Edge Behavioral Health in Macon, GA seeks a Crisis Coordinator to provide operational, clinical, and regulatory coordination for Crisis Continuum Homes serving individuals with IDD and complex needs. You will ensure services are person-centered, safely documented, and compliant with DBHDD, HFR, Medicaid waivers, and organizational requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, Psychology, Social Work, Healthcare Administration, Rehabilitation, Behavioral Health, or a related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Must meet applicable DBHDD Developmental Disability Professional (DDP) requirements.
• Experience with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or complex behavioral, psychiatric, or medical needs.
• Experience with person-centered planning, ISP development or implementation, behavioral support, documentation, and service coordination.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Georgia DBHDD developmental disability services and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Experience in residential services, crisis services, behavioral health, developmental disability services, or another high-acuity human-services environment preferred.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Program Management: Provide cohesive leadership across four Crisis Continuum locations utilizing CRA models.
• On-Call Management: Maintain a 24/7 supervisor on-call rotation for rapid crisis triage and guidance.
• Workforce Direction: Supervise direct care staff, evaluate performance, and address staffing needs.
• Cross-Site Communication: Deliver updates between home staff, leadership, and external stakeholders.
