Job summary

Security Services Northwest, Inc. is hiring for Idaho Flex Armed Guard in Lewiston, ID. The role is part-time or full-time with a $35.00/hour wage. Responsibilities include deterrence, monitoring, access control, safety escorts, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Able to work non-traditional hours including swings, graveyard, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to react appropriately in high-stress situations.

Responsibilities

• Act as a visible deterrent to prevent theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire, and accidents.
• Monitor activities and perform access control.
• Provide safety escorts and assist customers, employees, and visitors.
• Complete Daily Activity Reports (DAR) and Incident Reports.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire, and accidents
• Monitor activities
• Access Control
• Safety escorts
• Using provided communication devices
• Represent SSNW’s brand
• Properly wear the issued uniform
• Complete Daily Activity Reports (DAR)
• Complete Incident Reports
• Work with local law enforcement, and emergency services
• Provide friendly assistance to customers, employees and visitors following the department's procedures.
• Other duties as described in the Post Orders

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Current Idaho State Security Guard License
• EMT Background is a plus
• Smart phone to access the apps we use for scheduling, clocking in/out, and reporting.
• Reliable transportation
• Honesty and Integrity
• Able to work non-traditional hours including swings, graveyard, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to react appropriately in high stress situations

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Reserve police officers encouraged to apply
• Valid driver's license with insurable record
• Knowledge of security protocols, and equipment

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to conduct regular walking foot patrols
• Able to stand 8-12 hours a day
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times (occasionally)
