Corewell Health Farmington Hills Hospital is hiring an Infectious Diseases (ID) / Antimicrobial Stewardship Clinical Pharmacist Specialist to oversee ASP activities and provide expert pharmaceutical care. The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians, infection prevention, and pharmacy leaders to optimize antimicrobial use and patient outcomes.

The position focuses on program growth, education, and leadership within both acute and ambulatory care settings, delivering evidence-based practice

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Pharm.D. or Bachelor degree in pharmacy required.
• Infectious Diseases residency training or board certification preferred.
• 3 years of relevant experience as a clinical pharmacist or residency/fellowship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional infectious diseases pharmaceutical care for Corewell Health patients.
• Consolidate antimicrobial formulary and support cost stewardship.
• Promote safe and accurate antimicrobial therapy and improve quality metrics.
• Lead/participate in ASP initiatives and education for prescribers and staff.
• Promote safe, cost-effective medication therapy and support program development.
