Job summary

Beyond New Horizons is seeking an Instrumentation, Data, and Controls (ID&C) Supervisor to oversee a 10–20 engineer and technician team within Aerodynamics and Ballistic Ranges facilities. You will balance hands-on engineering delivery with people leadership, coordinating with DoD Test Squadron members and external contractors to ensure mission success.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics/Optical Engineering or Physics.
• Minimum 5 years in design, maintenance, or system engineering of ID&C systems.
• U.S. Citizenship required due to AEDC security requirements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, hazard analysis, verification, and problem resolution for complex ID&C systems.
• Provide senior technical guidance and root-cause analysis during active test operations.
• Maintain configuration management and System Operating Criteria for test facilities.
