Job summary

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) seeks an Instrumentation, Data & Control (ID&C) Engineer for the AEDC program at Arnold Air Force Base, TN. This entry-level role drives testing operations and supports high-precision instrumentation and data acquisition.

Applicant should have a bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or mechatronics engineering, be a U.S. citizen, and be able to obtain DoD clearance. Occasional extended hours and strong teamwork are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or mechatronics from an accredited college or university.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance and access to DoD network.
• S. Citizenship is required due to Air Force security requirements at AEDC.

Responsibilities

• Develop ID&C system requirements, concept sketches, specifications using CAD/CAE tools.
• Deploy, support, and monitor ID&C systems during active aerospace ground test operations.
• Diagnose and return ID&C systems to service while supporting lifecycle engineering and maintenance.
• Design, develop, and maintain Automated Control and HMI software.
• Evaluate engineering methods and review vendor/subcontractor design documents.
• Design, develop, and execute System Verification and Validation plans.
• Complete assigned engineering tasks on schedule using common processes.
