Job summary

Beyond New Horizons (BNH) is seeking an ID&C Engineering Technical Specialist to support AEDC at Arnold AFB, TN. You will join a multidisciplinary team configuring ID&C systems, maintaining TMDE and related IT equipment, and ensuring test operations meet contract requirements.

The role involves field support, weekend/extended hours as needed, and coordination with ID&C engineering staff to apply standard methods, develop work instructions, and lead craft personnel in data acquisition

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 5+ years of relevant experience.
Associate degree or technical certificate in CAD/Engineering Technology with 7+ years of experience.
High school diploma and 9+ years of related experience in electronics, instrumentation, data acquisition, or calibration.

Responsibilities

Configure data, control, and instrumentation systems per test requirements.
Lead test setup and validation of data acquisition and instrumentation systems.
Coordinate development and approval of ID&C work instructions and test procedures.
Maintain TMDE inventory and IT equipment; provide IT custodian duties.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering Technology, or a related engineering/scientific discipline

Associate degree or technical school certificate in CAD, Industrial Technology, Electronics, or Engineering Technology

High school diploma or equivalent with 9 years of related experience
