Job summary

DoveLewis Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital in Portland, OR is seeking full-time Certified Veterinary Technicians to join our ICU team on the overnight shift. This is an opportunity to practice at a VECCS Level 1 hospital and participate in advanced critical care procedures while growing your ECC skills.

We offer a $10,000 overnight bonus for qualified candidates, CE opportunities, VTS pathway support, and a collaborative environment with board-certified Criticalists.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of ECC or 5+ years total experience preferred (min. 2 years ECC)
• Strong advanced nursing skills (e.g. CRI calculations, NG tubes, extended differentials, central lines)
• Adaptable, lifelong learners who engage in a teaching hospital culture
• Commitment to high-quality patient and client care in a fast-paced setting

Responsibilities

• Support high-acuity hospitalized patients under supervision of board-certified Criticalists
• Assist with advanced critical care treatments (CRRT, TPE, Hi-Flo oxygen therapy, ventilator management)
• Collaborate across specialties including ECC, Neurology, Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Surgery, and Diagnostics
