A leading veterinary hospital in Portland, Oregon is looking for a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join their overnight ICU team. Candidates should have a valid Oregon veterinary technician certification and at least two years of ICU experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years ICU experience, preferably in an emergency or specialty veterinary hospital.
• Experience assisting and monitoring surgical and sedated procedures.

Responsibilities

• Triage and assess cases, including alerting the veterinarian of critical patients.
• Perform diagnostic tests and procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Provide support to pet owners.
• Maintain accurate medical records.

Skills

Valid Oregon veterinary technician certification (CVT)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
