Job summary

DoveLewis Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital in Portland, OR, is seeking full-time Certified Veterinary Technicians to join our ICU team on the overnight shift.

You will work with Criticalists to support high-acuity hospitalized patients and manage advanced critical care treatments. We value CE opportunities, VTS pathway support, and a collaborative, teaching-hospital culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of ECC or 5+ years total experience preferred (min. 2 years)
• Strong advanced nursing skills (e.g. CRI calculations, NG tubes, extended differentials, and central lines)
• Current status as a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) with ability to transfer license to Oregon
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Support high-acuity hospitalized patients under supervision of board-certified Criticalists
• Assist with advanced critical care treatments (CRRT, TPE, Hi-Flo oxygen therapy, ventilation)
• Collaborate across multiple specialties including ECC, Neurology, Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Diagnostics
• Work overnight on a 3/4 rotating schedule and participate in teaching hospital culture
