Job summary

Mercy Health's Kings Mills Hospital seeks a dedicated Unit Secretary for the ICU to provide clerical support on the nursing unit, helping maintain an organized, positive culture.

Under general supervision, you will handle calls, schedule follow-ups, assist with recording traumas and codes, and perform other administrative tasks.

Qualifications include a high school degree, healthcare clerical experience preferred, EPIC EHR familiarity preferred, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Healthcare clerical experience preferred.
• Experience with EPIC EHR preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve caller problems and requests promptly.
• Provide customer-focused service by handling calls from internal and external customers in a respectful manner.
• Schedule discharge follow-up appointments; assist in recording traumas and codes within the facility.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
