Day Kimball Health in Putnam, CT seeks a Unit Receptionist/Patient Care Technician. The role is part-time evenings (24 hours) in the ICU, supporting both front desk activities and patient care under nurse supervision.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, vitals, documentation, and timely communication across the unit. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and CNA/EMT-like experience, CPR and NVCI certifications, and a calm, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in clerical or receptionist roles.
• CPR certification required.
• NVCIT certification required within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Front desk patient management and unit communication support.
• Assist nurse with patient activities and ADL, vitals.
• Prepare and complete forms, requisitions and documentation for patient care.
