Job summary

ARMStaffing in Camp Hill, PA is seeking a travel nurse RN for an ICU night shift assignment. This 13-week contract calls for 36 hours per week, 12-hour nights, with ASAP start.

The RN will ensure the nursing care plan is followed, supervise clinical staff, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care. ICU experience, BLS and ACLS before first shift are required.

Qualifications

• ICU experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required prior to first shift.
• Minimum of two years of bedside clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission.
• Develop individualized care plans based on assessment data and collaborate with patients and the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses.
• Participate in the patient rehabilitation program and provide direct patient care.
• Initiate discharge planning on the day of admission and educate patients for discharge.
• Communicate significant changes in patient status to ensure continuity of care.
• Supervise and train ancillary nursing personnel and delegate tasks.
• Support team dynamics and communicate with management about supplies and training needs.
