Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Travel ICU RN for a 13-week contract in Scranton, PA. The role requires 36 hours weekly with 12-hour night shifts, and occasional weekend/holiday coverage. You will care for critically ill patients in the ICU and may float to telemetry as needed.

Requirements include at least 2 years ICU experience and active ACLS. Cerner familiarity is preferred, and experience with open heart surgery and Impella devices is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience required.
• Current ACLS certification required.
• Cerner experience preferred.
• Experience with open heart surgery and Impella devices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients in the ICU and telemetry as assigned.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and care plans.
• Document care accurately in the electronic medical record.
