Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU for a travel assignment in Scranton, Pennsylvania. This role requires RN licensure, an ICU background, BLS and ACLS, and at least 18 months of recent Acute Care ICU experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS & ACLS Certification
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and education to patients and families.
• Operate life-support equipment such as ventilators and feeding tubes.
• Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration for distress.
• Administer medications and IVs, insert catheters as needed.
• Meticulous documentation of medication administration.
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures to control changes in condition.
• Perform CPR accurately and effectively.
