Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking an ICU Technician for the Hospitalist team on the 9GS unit. The role centers on bedside patient care, phlebotomy, EKGs, vital signs monitoring, and glucose testing during the Evening shift at NYP.

Two years of Nursing Attendant experience and completion of a Nursing Attendant skills inventory are required, with recent CNA/MA/PC Tech training welcomed. On-site presence is essential to join an award-winning nursing department at Columbia University Medical

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years current Nursing Attendant experience in a health care setting.
• Successful completion of a skills inventory of a Nursing Attendant
• Recent training and/or experience as a Nurse Technician, Patient Care Technician or Medical Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and comfort at the bedside, supporting nurses and the care team.
• Perform phlebotomy, EKG, vital signs monitoring and blood glucose testing as required.
• Be the eyes and ears of the nursing team, communicating patient needs and changes to the team.

This is a full-time evenings shift position at NewYork-Presbyterian / Columbia University Medical Center.

Required Criteria
