NewYork-Presbyterian / Columbia University Medical Center seeks an ICU Technician for Cardiac Surgery, evening shift, full-time. You will work with the nursing team to provide direct patient care, perform phlebotomy and EKGs, and monitor vitals to support patient stability.

Candidates should have at least two years of Nursing Attendant experience in healthcare and training or experience as a Nurse Technician, Patient Care Technician or Medical Assistant.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years current Nursing Attendant experience in a health care setting.
• Successful completion of a skills inventory of a Nursing Attendant.
• Recent training and/or experience as a Nurse Technician, Patient Care Technician or Medical Assistant.

Responsabilités

• Provide phlebotomy, EKG, vital signs monitoring and blood glucose testing.
• Be the eyes and ears of the nursing team, collaborating with nurses and nursing attendants.
• Support patient comfort and care during evenings shift in a Cardiac Surgery ICU setting.

Required Criteria

Salary Range: $31.48-$33.35/Hourly
