Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking an ICU Technician for the Hospitalist service on the 9GS floor in an evenings, full-time capacity. The role emphasizes bedside care, phlebotomy, EKG and vital signs monitoring to support patient safety and comfort.

You will work closely with nurses and nursing attendants to ensure high-quality care and timely response to patient needs. The position requires at least two years of Nursing Attendant experience, completion of a nursing support skills

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years current Nursing Attendant experience in a health care setting.
• Successful completion of a skills inventory of a Nursing Attendant.
• Recent training and/or experience as a Nurse Technician, Patient Care Technician or Medical Assistant

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and EKG as part of routine bedside care.
• Monitor vital signs and blood glucose; respond to changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with nurses and nursing attendants to maintain a compassionate, safe patient environment.

Required Criteria
