PeaceHealth is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager for the ICU Stepdown Unit to lead daily operations, support staffing, and mentor a dedicated team of caregivers in a fast-paced critical care environment.

The role partners with the Nurse Manager to drive high-quality patient outcomes, safety, and professional growth, with a focus on servant leadership and collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of three years of nursing experience.
• BSN preferred.
• Experience as charge nurse or in a supervisory role.
• Experience with budgeting and resource management.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations with the Nurse Manager to ensure high-quality care.
• Oversee caregiver recruitment, onboarding, staffing, and retention.
• Coach and develop staff through performance management.
• Foster a patient-centered culture built on safety and teamwork.
• Assist with budgeting and resource planning.
• Develop policies and evidence-based practices to improve outcomes.
• Champion quality and continuous improvement.
