Job summary

The Staff Pad is partnering with a leading healthcare system in Wisconsin to hire Registered Nurses for high-acuity Critical Care (ICU) / Step-Down Units in Wausau. The role offers exposure to complex patient populations and structured, team-driven care delivery.

Position types include Full-Time, Part-Time, and Supplemental. Candidates should be licensed in WI (or compact) with BLS, and ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable. New grads welcome; 3+ years RN experience in a comparable setting preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold RN license in WI or compact license
• BLS required (or obtained within 90 days of hire)
• ACLS, PALS or NRP preferred depending on department

Responsibilities

• Provide care for high-acuity patients (ICU/step-down)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team in fast-paced setting
• Manage frequent admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Deliver patient-centered care with focus on safety and outcomes
