Job summary

The Staff Pad is partnering with a leading healthcare system in Wisconsin to hire Registered Nurses for high-acuity ICU/Step-Down units in Stevens Point. These units care for complex patients, including post-surgical and cardiothoracic cases, offering exposure to ICU-level skills in a collaborative team setting.

We’re looking for RNs with an associates degree (bachelors preferred), WI or compact licensure, BLS, and ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• RN license in WI or compact eligible; Trauma Nursing Core Course.
• BLS required (or obtained within 90 days of hire).
• ACLS, PALS or NRP preferred depending on department.
• Open to new grads and experienced nurses.
• 3+ years RN experience in a comparable setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for high-acuity patients with monitoring and drips.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced setting.
• Manage frequent admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Deliver patient-centered care emphasizing safety and outcomes.
