Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an RN for the ICU with weekend night shifts at Baptist Medical Center East in Alabama. The RN will supervise nursing staff on shift, perform patient assessments, plan care, and coordinate interventions to ensure quality and continuity of care.

Active RN licensure with BLS is required; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC certifications may be needed depending on unit. Bachelor’s degree preferred and nursing degree required to meet unit standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold active RN licensure and CPR/BLS.
• Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC or equivalent may be required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on shift, including weekends/holidays.
• Use nursing process for patient assessment, planning and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinicians to implement patient care.
