Job summary

St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, Idaho, is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive care for critically ill patients.

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of practice or a compact state.
• BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS preferred.
• Minimum six months of acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the ICU, including hemodynamic monitoring.
• Administer medications, monitor for adverse events, and respond to emergencies.
• Perform head-to-toe and pain assessments with regular reassessments.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and therapists to optimize patient care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Participate in emergency response and code blue scenarios.
• Document care activities and interventions accurately in the EMR.
