Qualifications

• Current RN license in Idaho or compact state
• BLS required; ACLS and PALS within facility policy time frame
• Emergency nursing experience preferred or demonstrated ability to function under pressure

Responsibilities

• Performs triage and prioritizes patient care based on acuity
• Assists physicians with exams and procedures in the ED
• Monitors hemodynamic status and interprets cardiac rhythms
• Administers medications and manages IVs and critical drips
• Documents care, treatment, and education accurately and timely
• Applies infection control and sterile technique practices consistently
• Educates patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions
• Collaborates with providers and interdisciplinary team for optimal care delivery
• Responds calmly and professionally in high-stress, life-threatening situations
