Job summary

Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, NV is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse for a part-time 24 hours per week position. The role provides safe, competent nursing care in alignment with facility policies and patient-centered care delivery.

The nurse will lead rounds, collaborate with the healthcare team, and support discharge planning. The ideal candidate holds an active Nevada nursing license, at least one year in critical care, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• Active Nevada nursing license required.
• Minimum 1 year of critical care/ICU experience.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS within six months of hire if not current.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the plan of care for ICU patients.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care plans and discharge planning.
• Conduct hourly rounds to assess pain, safety and comfort and communicate needs.
• Educate patients and families about care delivery under Patient Centered Care model.
