Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, NV is seeking a part-time ICU Registered Nurse for night shift to deliver safe, high‑quality care in a 124-bed acute care setting. This role provides professional leadership and supports the healthcare team while upholding the hospital’s patient-centered care model.

Ideal candidates hold a Nevada RN license, with at least one year in critical care, a current BLS, and ACLS (or within six months of hire). Relocation is offered within UHS guidelines.

Qualifications

• Active Nevada RN license.
• Minimum 1 year of critical care nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification or obtain within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care per policies and care standards.
• Lead and support the healthcare team in ICU patient care.
• Perform hourly rounds to enhance safety, pain control, and comfort.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and center policies.
