Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, NV is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse for a part-time night shift. You will provide safe, competent nursing care aligned with facility policies and deliver professional leadership to the healthcare team.

The concepts of Patient Centered Care will guide all nursing care and you will demonstrate Service Excellence at all times. The ideal candidate will possess a Nevada nursing license, at least one year of critical care experience, and current BLS; ACLS is

Qualifications

• Active Nevada nursing license required.
• Minimum 1 year of critical care nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification or obtain within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Constructs and implements the care plan using nursing knowledge and patient needs.
• Coordinates interdisciplinary plan-of-care, goals, and discharge plans.
• Conducts hourly rounds to improve safety, communication, and comfort.
• Educates patient and family about hospital components of Patient Centered Care.
