Job summary

MercyOne Trinity Health in Waterloo, IA is seeking an ICU RN for the Day shift. This part-time role provides patient care to high-acuity cases with a 24-hour per week commitment (days) and a 7 AM–7 PM schedule. • No experience required; critical care nursing experience preferred.
• Current Iowa RN license; IL license if practicing in IL.

Responsibilities

• Assessment & planning: initial and ongoing patient assessments with outcome-based care.
• Care implementation: coordinate and deliver patient care, delegating tasks and collaborating with team.
• Evaluation & documentation: reassess patients, update care plans, document thoroughly.
• Communication: convey patient status across teams and during shifts.
• Clinical competence: follow protocols, administer meds, and use required systems.
