Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree required, BSN preferred.
• Current Iowa RN license; IL license if practicing in IL.
• BLS, Mandatory Reporter.
• ACLS within 12 months of hire.
• TNCC, NVCI within 6 months of hire.
• Strong communication and critical thinking.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments; develops outcome-based care plans.
• Coordinates and delivers patient care; delegates tasks as appropriate.
• Regularly reassesses patients; updates care plans and documents.
• Communicates patient status across teams and during shifts.
• Administers medications safely and follows protocols.
• Provides ECMO patient care, including data documentation where applicable.
• Delivers age-appropriate care and ensures safety and regulatory compliance.
