Job summary

Independence Health System in Butler Township, OH, seeks a part-time Registered Nurse for ICU. You will provide direct nursing care to acutely ill medical/surgical ICU patients, using the nursing process and performance improvement initiatives.

Requirements include RN license, CPR, ACLS within one year, Act 33/73 clearances; education: RN program graduate and BSN with CCRN; preferred CCU and med-surg experience including arrhythmia interpretation; non-exempt; strong teamwork and communication.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Registered Nurse program.
• Bachelor degree in Nursing; CCRN.
• Current PA RN license; Healthcare Provider CPR; ACLS within one year of hire; Act 33/73 clearances.
• Clinical rotation through educational program.
• Preferred: med-surg experience and arrhythmia interpretation; critical care experience including IABP, ventilator care, ABG’s, Swan Ganz, arterial lines, post open-heart care, and CRRT.
